PROJECT 2 - PEN and INK SKETCHING: Drawing two

Objectives:

• Students should demonstrate skills in using the pen as a delineation media.
• Students should demonstrate knowledge in artistic composition.

Task:

Redraw from the handout, on your own sketchbook using toning techniques learned in class.  Strive to create contrast between light and dark areas.

Materials needed:

9" by 12" sketchbook
Micron 01 pigment liner

Deadline:

Assigned: Thursday, August 24
Due: Tuesday, August 29; beginning of class

Approximate time to complete: 2 to 3 hours
