PROJECT 16 - WATERCOLOR - Drawing three

Objectives:

• Students should exhibit skills at using watercolors as a presentation form.
• Students should exhibit skills which indicate an understanding of spatial organization, design detail and color harmony.
• Students should demonstrate skills at mixing colors.

Task:

1. Using one of the drawings provided in class, duplicate the painting as much as possible.

Materials needed:

Watercolor paper (block paper is suggested)
Watercolor brushes
jars for water
Palette for mixing colors
Pencils

Deadline:

Assigned: Thursday, Oct. 13
Due: Tuesday, Oct. 18; beginning of class.

Approximate time to complete: 6 - 8 hours
