Anthroposophic medicine offers an extension to healing in which
illness is seen as a process in life involving our body, mind and spirit. The main idea of
this two-patient room is to offer both patients a well-lit warm space which provides each
one with a comfortable and home-like environment. As one enters the room, one notices the
bay window with a view of the main courtyard. A built-in bench is located underneath this
window inviting users to share time together and enjoy the warmth of the sunlight. In
order to provide the room with warmth, wood has been used as the primary material in the
floor and ceiling and all walls have been painted with soft rose color.
