Submitting Manuscripts
Interested parties should forward a project description, outline, and a sample chapter to the address below. Book manuscripts should be approximately 50,000-85,000 words (200-350 double-spaced pages and including figure pages).
The manuscript should also be available on word-processing files accessible to IBM-compatible or Apple machines. References should follow A Manual of Style, University of Chicago Press. All illustrations must be in camera-ready form. Please direct inquiries to the editor and not to SUNY Press and please do not send complete manuscripts unless requested by the series editor, whose address is:
